This person under name flyertrip is selling hacked stolen accounts at low rate , does not share the orignal purchase history and ac gets blocked after you purchase or original owner tries to login. He keeps changing email addr to which payment is sent and only prefers bitcoin as it cannot be frozen by FTC.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED STAY AWAY!

yes its true , when I try to buy him he told me he accept only paypal or BTC.
Many fraud seller use paypal payment using friends & family , using it you dont get money back if anything wrong goes.As for BTC there is reversal of any money back trail , one you send money your money is gone.
If you wanna buy miles use escrow service ,as many payment option offer like BTC , or use escrow.com
Or buy miles using pay after use , many seller offer it.

People need to expose these scammers.
A word of advice when Buying miles, always use Payment method where it is noted a service or item is being purchased and some recourse for refund is available if the seller is trying to sell you stolen accounts.
The easiest way to check this is to immediately change any purchased account passwords as in most cases this will generate an email to account holder, if anything dodgy is happening and they have not authorised selling they will soon squeal and suspend the account.

I am also waiting for a final resolution for this case. Someone have to be punished. This will affect all my future relations with this forum, as I am mainly a buyer rather than seller. We have to build a trusted community. Who is the moderator?

Please all, allow me to chime in here because I can discuss a transaction I have completed with seller "flyertrip".
I too, like Fllygirl, have been very cautious and skeptical about doing business with airline miles in this non-regulated website.
Over the past 8 months or so I have monitored the various sellers without making a purchase, and I have become leary with Dale's incessant offers to buy miles as he literally floods the board all the time; flyertrip has refused to sell him miles (as seen in the posts).
Having been burned before, I bought 40K UA miles two months ago from a US based seller who was able to provide me with the pertinent information I needed to feel safe. All went well and trip was completed.
Now for flyertrip. I communicated with him for about three weeks before deciding to purchase miles. He allowed me to access the mileage account he was offering before being paid. I checked it out, changed the account's credentials, informed flyertrip that I had done so, and sent him the money via PayPal immediately after. He also confirmed that he had purchased the account from the owner, whose information I do have.
Note: So far I have booked one trip using this account, but not flown as yet (will do in Jan 2016), and I have control of it online. I cannot confirm if anything will go wrong after I use the account, so I keep my fingers crossed. I also cannot confirm that the accounts he sells are hacked, as MM claims.
With all that said, my personal view is that I feel that flyertrip is trustworthy. I had originally sent $1 to his Paypal account to test out the recipient, and the rest of the transaction was done on the same email. He did not change emails, nor did he ask to be paid with Bitcoin.
You may email me privately to verify that I am not related to "flyertrip" or have clandestine dealings with him to defraud anyone. I am a US-based miles buyer just like most of you all are, trying to save money on family air travel, while not being scammed.
I understand how difficult it is to lose hard-earned money to people who con others for a living, because I have lost money before. But if there are legitimate sellers on this board, it would do everyone a tremendous favor to identify them as well and post our experiences with the transactions, while at the same time doing the same thing with a "scammers list" that is continually updated to protect the buyers.

flyertrip- What kind of payment method you use? Do you use bitcoins recently?
AFAIK, bitcoins is trick if there is any dispute a arbitrator (which no one knows who that person is) oversees your case and chances are it can be manipulated. Unlike paypal where "Paypal" as company looks into the dispute.

Thank you for your excellent response, as I have stated previously the only way we can move forward is to expose the crooks that operate across these sites, I too have been caught out in the past but have also made purchases with no issues.
I would never use any form of payment where there is no recourse for a refund.
I hope you will update upon completion of your trip in January.
Flyertrip I see nobody else is coming in to say you have scammed them but neither are people coming to talk about good experiences with purchasing from you.

Bad news,
The UA account that Flyertrip sold me to book my ticket has been closed down and the tickets I bought revoked. Flyertrip, what do you have to say about this? Are these accounts hacked or not? Should we call the owner of these accounts to confirm and post the results here?

Drak21 as you may know, buy or selling miles are prohibited (company rules). Therefore you should never call them or contact them in order to issue a ticket for you. You should never disclose you bought miles from another account.
You should do all the procedures online, so is pratically impossible for them to track your moves.
Was that what may have happened?
Do you think they may have found out?

I buy daily miles from many buyer, I try flyertrip to test buy 1 account. But when I confirm sell from account holder ,he did not agree any sell of account miles. I use many fraud protected whenever I buy miles or sell it. Now days so many people try to sell hacked account.As for payment you can always use paypal using service or goods ,but paypal cover upto 90days after transaction compete & bitcoin or any other payment option use under escrow service.
As for drak21 you can always contact account holder for confirm miles sell or buy miles using escrow or pay after travel complete.

Please give an update of how you get on.
I am always dubious of new persons coming on to this site selling all sorts of amounts of miles.
Cerf is the new guy selling all amounts at ASAP conditions.
My advice is exercise due diligence when a seller is purporting to be from the USA or any other western country giving a reasonable western name name but can only communicate in poorly written skills (broken English) Beware.

I made a claim through PayPal. Flyertrip claims they have "locked" his accounts from refund payments. I asked him to pay me by Xoom or any other wire method but he declined. He is also claiming that he is doing business through a third party from China named "Andrew" from whom he buys miles to resell. He will not confirm how he or Andrews gets these accounts, but says they are not hacked. Will keep you posted if I get my refund from PayPal. United has locked the mileage account that Flyertrip sold.
